Providing safe and comfortable accommodation for a 16-18 + year old foster people is essential for their well-being and development

Facilities

Changing Life Care Home comprises of four bedrooms in a semi-detached house, including office space for the support staff;  the building comprises a spacious reception room, three spacious and furnished bedrooms for Service Users, a well equipped kitchen; leading to a spacious garden, and utility areas providing a medication cupboard and COSHH cupboard, a place to hold meetings and resource room, perimeter fencing for extra privacy, CCTV and intercom door lock system that can be disabled if required.

A breakdown of the facilities within our supported living accommodation includes:

Ground Floor

  • Living Room – furnished with sofas and TV for communal relaxation and activity.
  • Office – secure for staff.
  • Kitchen – double oven, range cooker, American style fridge freezer, dining table.

First Floor

  • House bathroom.
  • 3 bedrooms – (2 double and 1 single).
  • Large bed, wardrobe and a desk in all rooms.

Second Floor

  • 1 double bedroom with a side bathroom and toilet.

We will develop specific relationships with local authorities including the London Boroughs Children and Young Peoples social care team as well as collaborating with other connected groups and charities who are active in London with projects and ideas supporting social care for Service Users.
